Pregnant Mother and Kids Need Housing ASAP

My name is Michelle, and my kids (13 and 5) and I have been homeless for the last six months due to such barriers as COVID, domestic violence, and my high-risk pregnancy. I’m due to be induced at any moment once a bed is available at Northside Hospital.

My main goal is to have a home to bring my newborn and children to. We are in the Sandy Springs area. My kids attend Ridgeview Charter School and Heards Ferry Elementary.

I’ve explored all other options and have been unsuccessful. The doctor put me on bedrest two months ago, which of course, has been impossible without a bed.

I have high earning potential, which I will capitalize on six weeks after the baby is born- I just need to get over this hump.

The last six months for me have given me a lot of time to cry and think of how to NEVER be in this situation again. No child should have to pray for necessities like a bed and a cooked meal.
