Pregnant stray cat needed emergency surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Wendy. I’m fundraising for the sweet kitty you see above, Felony Grace and her new kittens.
Felony is one of many strays I have recently noticed living close by to where I work. One day, before heading home, I saw her across the street. Thinking there was no way on Earth she would come to me, I bent down and called her over, but to my surprise, she darted across the street, eager for affection. I was amazed at how loving she was, rubbing on me, meowing, and showing me her (quite obviously) pregnant belly.
I took her to the vet to make sure everything was alright and learned that she was nearly ready to give birth. My son agreed to adopt her, and we took care of her as she delivered her 6 kittens less than 2 weeks later.
Felony is a tiny little thing and less than a year old. She gave birth the day before Easter, and hasn’t been doing well since. We took her to the emergency vet to find that she was running a 106 fever, and would need to have emergency surgery to be spayed immediately.
All of her vet bills are adding up quite quickly, but we desperately want this sweet, gentle little mama to be able to stick around for her 6 beautiful babies.
If you’re able to spare anything, $15, $5, $1, we would be so so appreciative. Thank you for reading our story, and thank you for your support.
