Preserve Camp Sewataro
Donation protected
Camp Sewataro sits on 44 acres and has operated as a summer day camp for the past 60 years. The Taylor Family who currently runs the camp has decided retire. The Town of Sudbury responded to a competitive bid and won! The agreement is for $11 Million. The Town proposes the land be used for open space, recreation, preservation and other municipal purposes.
This purchase requires a two-thirds majority vote to pass May 6 Town Meeting AND a majority vote at the June 4th Town Election.
Preserving this property is the mission of Friends of Sewataro. We believe this special property will benefit Sudbury for lifetimes to come.
We need your support to help pay for advertising, lawn signs and marketing to get the vote out! Your support is not only needed financially. We need residents to attend Town Meeting on May 6th and vote on June 4th.
We appreciate all of your support.
