Preserve Koundi Rainforest

Cameroon had 22 Million hectares of tropical rainforest that provides home to many local and indigenous communities, a wide variety of plant & animal species. In 2023 alone, it lost about 197.000 hectares of natural forest. The loss of biodiversity is one of the greatest environmental challenges Cameroon faces today. Unfortunately Cameroon's forest is subject to serious problems such as deforestation resulting from illegal logging & farming, lack of effective forest management programs and awareness.

Save the World Solutions Cameroon was created in November 2023 with primary objective to protect, preserve forest areas from further degradation.

With your support and donation, we shall sustainably manage the Koundi rainforest project in the Eastern Region of Cameroon. This project will create vital employment opportunities for the local residents, improve their living quality, and conserve regional biodiversity. The additional social benefits of this project are particularly important to us.

In addition, we also aim to promote education and outreach programs to increase awareness of the importance of forests and raise people's awareness of protecting nature.
