Help Preserve Latham Park
Tax deductible
Perhaps you remember your parents bringing you to the park as a child, a family picnic, or having prom and homecoming pictures taken in the park. You may have been married at the park as hundreds of couples have been since the park’s beginning in 1937. Perhaps you’ve enjoyed the peaceful solitude of the park, a quiet stroll with a friend, or attended community events in the park's picturesque setting.
The Friends of Latham Park, in our effort to preserve the park for your use, is in desperate need of funding to ensure the park is preserved for the future. The park is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit and receives no funding from the city or any government agency. Donations from folks like you, and our fund raising efforts, are the primary source for paying the park’s ongoing expenses and maintenance.
We are asking for your financial help at this time to complete much needed painting of the house, a new commercial lawn mower, fountain maintenance, electrical and insulation upgrades of the house and restoration or replacement of the public restrooms.
Time and dwindling resources are catching up with the needed projects at the park and it’s our hope that you'll recognize the efforts of our group to preserve this valued part of the community for everyone's use. No amount is too small or too large.
The Friends of Latham Park thank you for your consideration.
