Preserve The Players: Help Us Restore Our Roof

A Roof for the Theater, a Pillar for the Community.
For over a century, The Springfield Community Players (SCP) have brought the magic of live performance to Springfield and the surrounding area, making it the longest continuously operating amateur theater group in Vermont. Tracing its roots back to 1920, SCP has been a hub of creativity, camaraderie, and culture.
Today, SCP proudly calls one of Springfield School District’s former elementary school buildings its home -The Springfield Community Players Studio. However, our beloved Studio is in urgent need of a new roof, with the estimated cost being upwards of $130,000.
We need your help to preserve our rich legacy for future generations of performers and audiences alike. The Players have saved diligently for several years now but have still come up short for the goal of replacing the roof and maintaining enough funds for future seasons of entertainment.
Please consider donating to the cause and supporting this New England gem. Any amount is welcomed and appreciated - after all, the show must go on!
