THE CANADIAN CIVIL DEFENCE MUSEUM (CCDMA) IS AN NON-PROFIT HERITAGE CHARITY PRESERVING THE CANADIAN COLD WAR HISTORY.
WE TOOK OWNERSHIP OF THE CFS ALSASK RADAR TOWER SITE, JUNE 1st OF 2018.
THIS IS THE ONLY TOWER LEFT INTACT, OF THE PINTREE LINE IN CANADA. THE CCDMA HAS BEEN MAINTAINING THE SITE AND RESTORING THE TOWER FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY AND EXPLORE FOR GENERATIONS TO COME. THIS IS A VERY COSTLY VENTURE AND ALL PRESERVATION WORK IS TOTALLY FUNDED BY DONATIONS.
THE CCDMA HAS NEVER RECEIVED FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL OR MUNICIPLE FUNDING OF ANY NATURE! THIS IS WHY YOUR DONATION IS SO VERY IMPORTANT!
