Preserving Radio History

Hi, my name is Walden Hughes, President of the Radio Enthusiasts of Puget Sound (REPS), a non-profit organization that encourages and preserves old-time radio from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. We host showcase events and send out a bi-monthly newsletter through the club. We also hold mobile live events with authors, historians, museum curators and archivists with slide show presentations. The non-profit club has been around for more than 30 years. Our organization could use a little funding to continue acquiring rare audio transcription discs, uncirculated files, and funding for the major restoration of recordings. This is an awesome method of digital preservation and the club is proud to be responsible for making this happen. Underwriters and sponsors are always willing to provide financial support, but our goal here is to allow you the opportunity to help donate to the cause, which will provide a service for people to acquire this material through a cloud-based server, in the highest quality sound.
