Preserving the Legacy of Robert Collier: Uncovering a Hidden Chapter in Black History

Dear friends and advocates for justice,

I am reaching out to you with a story of bravery and selflessness that deserves our attention and support. As the Great Great Granddaughter of Robert Collier, I am on a mission to preserve his legacy – a legacy marked by his tragic execution in 1914 after defending himself against police harassment and brutality in Evansville, Indiana.

Robert's final moments were not only a testament to his resilience but also to his selflessness. Imagine, a man about to face the electric chair, and his last thoughts were for others. That's pure bravery and an act of compassion that resonates with us today.

To share his story, I have already completed a documentary titled "A Mini Tribute to Black History," which will be available on my YouTube channel starting February 1, 2024, in honor of Black History Month. Additionally, I've authored a book, "Show No Fear! The 1914 Execution of Robert Collier," available on Amazon Kindle, providing a detailed account of his life and the circumstances leading to his tragic end.

Now, I'm embarking on a second documentary as well as the screenplay, "Preserving the Legacy of Robert Collier," scheduled for release in 2024. To ensure its success, I need your support to travel to Evansville, Indiana. This journey will allow me to continue my research, conduct interviews, collaborate with local historical societies, and capture crucial footage of the incident's locations – the courthouse, jail, cemetery, and more.
