Preston Beach Community Centre Art Project

Take a look at the wonderful work of Melski and imagine a similar mural on our building

Preston Beach is a small town with an even smaller population. We make up for this with our enthusiasm and community spirit. 

Our lovely new Community Centre is almost complete after many years of  hard work.  There’s just one small problem;  the shabby old shed adjoining the building urgently needs a facelift to complete the project. 



We have plans to engage the amazing WA artist Melski to produce a vibrant mural on the frontage of the old shed.  This mural will reflect the abundant flora and fauna that surrounds us, from  the sea to the forest.


The community, especially the young folk of Preston Beach will be invited to help apply colour to Mel’s “paint by numbers” design, creating a sense of community and ownership for the whole town.  


You are invited to be a part of this project celebrating our connection with the land, sea and forest and it’s wild beauty.  Your contribution to our fund will go a long way to  making this project complete, putting a smile on many faces, not just those who live here.
