Preston, Fiver, and Phoenix

Morgan’s favorite time of the year was summer. She loved the Sun, the flowers, the long nights, fireworks…ALL of life. All of it was a reflection of the bright light that she is. Morgan died on Monday morning, June 5. She was a radiant light in our family and in this wonderful world. She made all of it more beautiful. The world is still beautiful, but it’s missing one of its greatest gifts. Morgan was beauty and she imparted so much beauty. Fiver is a representation of Morgan’s creativity and wonder. Fiver creates so much art and so much connection. And Morgan never ceased to embrace her creativity, because Morgan was the most creative being I knew. Phoenix is a representation of that spark that is energy which Morgan displayed for all who knew her well. Phoenix is a gymnast in the making; energized by all and slowed down by none. Sound like anyone you know? Morgan helped me to embrace the light. I’ve gone from such a dark place in my mind to a place I know I am loved and befriended…no one brought me closer to this place than Morgan. Morgan knows how Fiver, Phoenix, and I love her. Morgan is now at rest. We will always remember, cherish, and adore her. She is in all three of us, and when you see our spark, just know it’s her with us. Please keep us in your prayers, wishes, and hearts. Know that Morgan is at peace and that we are devastated that we are not in that peace with her. But Fiver, Phoenix, and I know we will find her there one day. We all love you, Morgan.
