Preston 'Roc" Herron

Hi, My name is Lavar Herron and today we lost my younger brother unexpectedly. I never thought I would be writing this because my brother Preston was always the buff strong little brother. Preston played running back at Boone County High School and immediately made an impact as a top running back. After ending his football career his junior year of college, he found his true life's passion. He turned into an amazing discus thrower. After graduation, he took those amazing skills and dedicated his life to teaching his skill. The success he had was second to none. Preston also took his skills to another level and became a certified track and field official for the state of Kentucky and AAU track and Field. Preston spent his life helping others. Now we need to help bring Preston back home to Florence Kentucky one last time to rest. Preston several years back began having health issues. He by the grace of God pulled through and seemed to be doing so much better. Recently officiating at the Junior Olympics. This evening he suffered a fatal seizure. Leaving everyone completely suprised and devasted by the hole that will be left without him here with us. Preston was loved by so many and touched so many lives. On behalf of the entire Herron family, we appreciate anything you can do to help us bring him home.
