Pretzel the Pug’s emergency surgery

My name is Sherrise Romero. My daughter’s family… Tanya and Noel and the boys suffered an unimaginable tragedy yesterday when their family dog viciously attacked their tiny pug, Pretzel.

Sadly the whole even unfolded right in front of my two sweet grandsons and their babysitter.

Noel rushed home from work while I scooped up the boys and brought them to our house.

Pretzel needed emergency surgery and subsequently had to have her eye removed.

You all know this is a terrible time of year for something like this to happen. Most young families aren’t prepared to absorb these kind of expenses especially so close to the Holidays.

Beyond the surgery, they are now, today, dealing with how to humanely deal with the other dog. And of course that incurs more expense, trauma and time off of work.

Our friends and family are so loving and generous always. We appreciate any help you can give. And of course the love and help of total strangers is amazing as well.
