Prey - A Film by Rob de Haan

Hello, my name is Rob de Haan.

I'm a young, Welsh director. I have written a psychological thriller film about a writer (played by Demba Beyagy). After his father's death, the writer is haunted by the latter's voice. Following a violent outburst, he ends up in therapy and is given a notebook to record his thoughts. Plagued by a lack of inspiration he goes for a drink. After leaving the bar he finds himself in a conflict, a life or death situation. His father's voice guides him through the incident to ensure his survival, inadvertently providing the inspiration for his writing.

He soon becomes obsessed with the notebook. His story unfolds as he embarks on a series of killings, one more brutal than the other. He is the predator and they are his prey.

The film will be produced by Abdoul Razak and we have Atilla Akinci playing the therapist. As this is a self-funded film we are truly honoured by any amount you'd be able to donate to support us. It's time to not only showcase the talent we have in Wales but also our dogged determination to create something unique and powerful. The money raised will be used to pay local crew and cast.
