OUTwest Lubbock is the premiere South Plains virtual (for now) community center for (LGBTQ+) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer people. In a space this obscure it is easy for people to stand out as well as find common ground within a community. We provide an online platform for resources related to current and future residents of Lubbock, TX, and the South Plains.

Add your financial support for our letter-writing campaign to request our City of Lubbock Mayor and Council to declare the month of June as PRIDE Month in Lubbock Texas.

Objective

*To encourage members of the Lubbock City Council to issue an Official Proclamation declaring June as Pride Month.

*To recognize the broad cultural and entrepreneurial contributions of the LGBTQ+ community to the City of Lubbock.

*To declare that Lubbock is a city that welcomes all.

We are raising money to go toward print and virtual media advertisements in our local outlets. Your donation will be greatly appreciated and put to good use for these and other endeavors related to this proclamation campaign. Any money raised over our set goal of $2,500 will go toward our fall October LGBTA+ History Month Proclamation Campaign.
