Help PoB's Jack keep raising money for other kids
Did you see our brilliant Pride of Britain surprise for Jack Rigby?
Jack Rigby is the son of Fusilier Lee Rigby, who was murdered in May 2013, when Jack was just two.
This year, the 10th anniversary of the killing which shocked the nation, saw Jack embark on an incredible fundraising effort. He walked a marathon in May to raise money for Scotty's Little Soldiers, a brilliant charity that supports children bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.
Jack says: "My mom registered me with Scottys in 2013 and I have been a proud member ever since. I have met other children that understand what it's like to be in this position. I've had fun at the Scotty's Christmas parties over the years and marched with Scotty’s through London on Remembrance Day which filled me with pride. I even named my dog Scotty after the charity."
Jack had already raised an amazing £54k, and then we teamed up with his mum and GoFundMe to supercharge his efforts with a secret fundraiser.
With donations from GoFundMe, TSB, the Pride of Britain Fund, Mirror readers, and a very generous £20,000 from businessman Duncan Bannatyne, Jack smashed his £100,000 target - £10,000 for every year since he lost his dad - at Pride of Britain.
And you can still help, and boost his total even more to help Scotty’s Little Soldiers do even more to help kids.
