To know Jerry was a blessing❤️. This fundraiser is to help support the Prieskorn family through this difficult time.
Gerald George Prieskorn, affectionately known as Jerry (Junior), was born on August 7, 1971, in Pontiac, Michigan, and peacefully passed away on October 10, 2023, in his home in Orion Township, Michiga after a long, hard fight with cancer.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who left a heartwarming impact on everyone he met. Jerry is the cherished husband of Jill (Frederick) Prieskorn. He was the proud father of four children, Caden (Cali), Peyton, Brady, and Skylar, the adoring grandfather of Mac, and dad to family pet, Kobe. He was the loving brother of Stephanie Barrows and Stacy (Ron) Adams and the beloved uncle of Justin, Zachary, Brandon, Bailey, Dawson, Carrson, Riley, Harrison, Bo, and Layla. He was dearly loved by his brother-in-laws, Scott (Lisa) Frederick and Kevin (Kari) Frederick. Jerry was the treasured son-in-law of Randall and Sandra Frederick. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Serene Prieskorn.
Jerry was a proud alumnus of Waterford Mott High School and Northwood University where he played college basketball and golf. He was a successful family business owner of Bald Mountain Golf Course. His love for his family and his welcoming and competitive nature were enjoyed by all who knew him. Jerry's love for sports was matched only by his love for his family. He cherished watching his children's activities and was their biggest supporter. Jerry spent 30 years of his life with his best friend, Jill, enjoying cheering on their kids, going to movies, and grabbing dinner at Gino’s. Jerry has left a lasting impact on his children that could never be matched. Caden will miss the selflessness that Jerry taught him. Peyton will miss the comfort of his dad’s unconditional support. Brady will miss talking to him after his games and spending time together watching Star Wars and Marvel movies. Skylar will miss the encouragement she continuously received from him, but most of all, his ability to make her laugh. His light will continue to shine through his children and the things he has instilled in them. Jerry's life was a testament to the power of love, the importance of family, and the value of hard work. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his children and grandchildren and those he loved and those who loved him. Rest in peace, Jerry. Your spirit, love, and kindness will continue to inspire your family and friends. We will miss your warm presence. May your soul find eternal peace and happiness as you join your mom and dad in heaven.
