Primo passo per ricostruire 1st step to rebuild

Ciao a tutti, sono Ester Ferrante e sono la figlia di Salvatore (Tore) Ferrante, dal 1850 la mia famiglia possede questa splendida tenuta nel cuore di Palermo che ha da sempre segnato la nostra identità. Nel 2003 mio padre con l'aiuto della sua compagna Rosalia Monti ha investito tempo, denaro ed infinito amore per aprire l'attività de "Il Tancrè" un agriturismo che da sempre si è contraddistinto per lo spirito di aggregazione sociale, la cura verso gli animali e la produzione di prodotti tipici e biologici che venivano realizzati a km 0 all'interno dell'azienda agricola.

Essendo profondamente innamorati di questo luogo anche prima della costruzione del tancrè lì sorgeva la nostra casa, consapevoli che nessun posto avrebbe avuto per noi la stessa importanza.

A causa dei terribili e devastanti incendi che hanno distrutto buona parte della vegetazione palermitana nella notte tra il 24 e il 25 Luglio, il Tancre e conseguentemente la nostra casa sono andati irrimediabilmente distrutti. Abbiamo

Perso tutto, non solo la nostra fonte di guadagno ma il nostro rifugio, casa nostra ad oggi è un cumulo di macerie.

Grazie all'aiuto e al supporto di amici e parenti abbiamo deciso di aprire questo crown founding per ricostruire la nostra casa, per provare a ripartire da queste macerie e trovare una nuova identità come famiglia, per sentirci di nuovo al sicuro in un nuovo posto.

Grazie all'aiuto di chi sosterrà la nostra causa vogliamo comprare un prefabbricato come soluzione provvisoria a questi disastrosi eventi, che verrà poi collocato all'interno della tenuta, questo sarà un primo passo nella speranza di una futura ricostruzione.

Hello everyone, I am Ester Ferrante and I am Salvatore (Tore) Ferrante’s daughter. Since 1850 my family has owned this beautiful estate in the heart of Palermo that has always marked our identity. In 2003 my father with the help of his partner Rosalia Monti invested time, money and infinite love to open “Il Tancrè" an agritourism that has always been distinguished by the spirit of social gathering, the care for animals and the production of typical and organic products that were made at km 0 within the farm.

Being deeply in love with this place even before the construction of the tancrè, there stood our house, knowing that no place would have the same importance for us.

Due to the terrible and devastating fires that destroyed much of Palermo's vegetation on the night of July 24-25, the Tancre and consequently our house were irreparably destroyed.

We have lost everything, not only our source of income but our shelter, our house to this day is a pile of rubble.

With the help and support of friends and family, we have decided to open this crown founding to rebuild our home, to try to start over from this rubble and find a new identity as a family, to feel safe again in a new place.

With the help of those who will support our cause, we want to buy a prefabricated house as a temporary solution to these awful events. The house will be placed in our land, where our former house used to be.

This will represent a new beginning for us, hoping to rebuild in the future.
