Primrose Farm Flock - Restarting from Scratch

Hi, my name is Mandy Fedinetz. I have been a farmer since 2014 and have been supplying local businesses and local residents with chicken eggs, duck eggs, quail eggs, as well as fresh chicken and turkey. On September 21st, I had to say goodbye to all of my flocks due to avian influenza brought on by an outside source. This has been a terrible loss, both financially and emotionally, as I have raised my animals as humanely and ethically as possible. They were much more than chickens, ducks, quail and turkeys. It also pains me that I will be unable to supply the wonderful people that I call my customers.

I have been in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and the USDA to mitigate the spread of this dangerous avian virus. As I rebuild my flock over the many upcoming months, I appreciate any support you are willing and able to provide. Your donations will help with the infrastructure that will protect my future flock and establishing that flock.
