My Akita Prin Needs Surgery for her ACL Tear!

Hi my name is Alicia. My fiancé and I bought our first Akita (Prin) four years ago. She has been the light of our life, we have hiked together, travelled together, laughed together, cried together. On Wednesday, January 31, Prin and our other dog (Kuma) ran into the trees, when I called them only Kuma came out! Panicking I continued to call Prin. She eventually made her way to me, limping terribly, and holding up her leg. She hobbled back to the car, around 2km, as there was no other options!

After two days of worrying and googling what could have happened, I took Prin to the vet. An ACL tear is the diagnosis we got!! We are looking at 5-8 grand for her surgery.
