FULLY FUNDED - PRINCE and TIARA - help with bills

Prince had his dental and is doing very well. Sadly, upon being examined, the vets diagnosed him with early stages of kidney failure - we are all absolutely heartbroken but his forever mum has changed his diet completely to suit his needs and is determined to love him, cherish and make him happy forever. Amputating his tiny bent leg will now not be an option as the surgery is long and the vets feel it is a great risk with Prince's newly diagnosed health condition. Thankfully, Prince is full of life, he goes out on lovely woodland walks with the other family dogs and he runs (RUNS!!), the leg doesn't seem to bother him at all, so we're glad this little guy is enjoying life to the fullest right now. His best friend, Tiara, has also had her dental recently and is doing very well.

With these medical procedures done and paid for with donations, Prince and Tiara are in good health and very happy with their forever family, who opened their hearts to 2 wonderful Chihuahuas who truly needed all the help they could get. We are grateful we could be part of this journey!

Hello everyone!

Tesa's Rescue is raising funds to hopefully cover all medical bills for Prince and Tiara.

Who are they you might wonder? 6 year old Chihuahuas, local to us in Hastings and adorable beyond belief. Sadly, Prince and his friend Tiara have come into rescue in a very poor condition from their previous home. Both Chihuahuas had rotten teeth and were unable to eat, Prince was suffering from a stomach infection as well as dragging around a bent twisted foot, while Tiara was suffering from an eye ulcer. Thankfully, a wonderful lady took them home and settled them into her own pack of happy Chihuahuas, who welcomed Prince and Tiara with no issues.

The local community has been amazing and raised £760 to help towards any medical bills these precious souls might have. So far, Tiara's eye had been treated with various eye drops which healed the painful wound beautifully; although her eye has been damaged, Tiara is no longer in pain and she can keep her eye ❤️ Insurance has covered some of the costs, and the rest of the bill has been settled using the public's money (£120). Prince has finally healed from his stomach infection and it is now time to sort his teeth and leg out. His vet consultation has been paid from the community's money (£42) and we have a couple of quotes: £1370 for dental work and £1570 for amputation surgery (this has been agreed upon as the best option for the little guy). Thankfully, we still have £598 left from the money the local community has so kindly raised, therefore our goal now is to raise the remaining money to get Prince better. Very soon, we'll look at sorting Tiara's teeth out too - the vets have quoted £700.

Although we're all heartbroken to see two wonderful Chihuahuas in such a neglected state, we do not wish to blame anybody but simply focus on making the situation better for them. ❤️ Prince and Tiara are safe now, very loved and well cared for, they sleep on the bed, play with their adorable toys and enjoy their lives to the fullest. All we must do now is make sure they're as comfortable and pain free as possible.
