Save Korean Dogs USA Foundation, Inc. Needs Your Help!
We have three beautiful rescues looking for their second chance at a new life full of love. JOAQUIN and VALENTINE were rescued from the South Korean dog meat trade, and PRINCESS was rescued from a deplorable puppy mill in South Korea. These dogs are among those who urgently need medical attention the most right now. We have set up this go fund me to raise $4,000 to cover the vet bills for PRINCESS, JOAQUIN and VALENTINE. We cannot begin treatment without your help.
PRINCESS – This brown, curly-haired Poodle beauty was rescued from a puppy mill in Korea where she, and all the other dogs at the puppy mill, was forced to have litter after litter of puppies without any medical care. Princess is suffering from advanced stages of gum disease and will need dental work with multiple extractions. Princess is currently residing in a foster home in Vancouver, Canada.
JOAQUIN – Named after animal activist and actor, Joaquin Phoenix, he is a small, tan-colored, shy yet loving pup, who is approximately two years old. He is currently at the Save Korean Dogs sanctuary in Gimpo, South Korea. Joaquin has been undergoing treatment for a cough and advanced skin issues. He was originally treated for mange with no progress. Upon further testing, the vet has decided that little Joaquin now needs to be treated for a severe skin fungus. We are hopeful he will make a full recovery and be ready for adoption within the next few months.
VALENTINE – This handsome, loving Golden Retriever was rescued from a dog meat farm in very poor health. He came in very ill with multiple medical conditions. The vet bills accrued quickly and although we have received some donations to cover a small portion of the expenses we are still in need of additional funding in order to treat his advanced stage of heartworm. Once Valentine’s heartworm is treated and he is cleared as healthy for travel, he will be ready for adoption. He also is currently living at the SKD sanctuary in South Korea. This boy has a heart full of love almost as large as he is.
SKD USA understands these are unprecedented times and that COVID-19 has affected everyone, SKD included. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. We ask that you help these precious pups get healthy by donating anything you can. We are all in this together and every dollar counts.
