Anastasia's Ice Adventures
Donation protected
In Summer of 2015 Anastasia says she wants to be a figure skater. She started group lessons in September 2015 and has not looked back since. Because of the high cost of figure skating and family circumstances Anastasia needs your help.
Coming from a single parent home, her mom works part-time at the ice rink and because of Anastasia's little brother, who is chronically ill, it makes it difficult for mom to maintain full-time employment at the moment. Besides that it has been difficult to find reliable nursing. It has been an overwhelming struggle for her mom to be able to afford figure skating. All funds will be used for lessons, coaching, practice ice time, travel/hotel fees, competition fees, testing and equipment.
Her recent accomplishments are:
Is currently competing on a Novice level Synchronized Skating team. Will be traveling to Irvine, CA, Ann Arbor, MI, Lowell, MA, and New Hampshire.
Competed in the Excel Series and National Festivals 2021 in Strongsville, OH, 2022 in Norwood, MA and 2023 in Austin, TX
Competed with the Baltimore Blue Blades High School team 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons.
Recipient of the Jerry Bruno award for Artistic Freestyle skating 2023
Anastasia also gives back to help her community as a junior coach for the Learn to Skate program at her local rink.
