M1 MASS PRODUCTION

Hello Everyone, We have been humbled by our community with the amount of support we have received so far and are proud to say phase one of our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) production is officially complete. Here is what is next: Phase Two: To double the production rate of printed masks within a one week period.  Currently, one week production is 600+ masks per week. Phase Two anticipated production: 1,200+ masks per week. Below are examples of our early model M1 masks (Phase One) in use.   Currently, Long Island Racing,  is part of the first initial response to the shortage of personal protective equipment.  Presently, we are one of the fastest producers of PPE. What’s paramount is that we get these masks to our hospitals and clinics as soon as possible. Today, we are updating these designs. We are planning to have an FDM (typical hobby level 3D printer) friendly print design.  This will allow for the downloading of masks for free at home. Simple instructions will be given for makers to ensure a usable print quality. Our estimated Phase Two funding will be utilized to produce enough masks per week to cover one hospital’s entire staff. While engaged in producing Phase One masks, we are also working on the technological forefront of the 3D printed model to constantly improve output efficiency. In addition, we are also working on vacuum injection molding friendly 3D models to allow various production facilities to be able to produce masks on their own. Lastly, our primary aim is to get these reusable PPE masks (can be sanitized) to our hospital workers as our funding allows. We will keep updating as we make new developments in our efforts.
