Hello, my name is Paul. Almost 9 years ago the Lord Jesus Christ knocked on my heart and I opened my heart to a different life. As a result, all of the years of criminal and felonious behavior began to turn into a desire to help those that find themselves being freed while incarcerated. You see, sometimes an individual finds more freedom behind bars than they do while in the community. Being enslaved to a lifestyle of criminal behavior hurts people more than an incarcerated sober person does.
The reason that I have developed this GoFundMe account is as a way to help me provide for those that are currently in jail/prison and to help facilitate the reentry of a newly released individual into society.

This is a list of the things that the money raised will be used for:

1) Reasonable toiletries for newly incarcerated individuals without family members support.
2) Stamps for me to write and encourage incarcerated individuals.
3) Greeting cards used to encourage inmates(purchased at Dollar Tree 2 for $1)
4) Purchase backpacks and basic living necessities(clothes and phone) for newly released individuals.
5) Gasoline to transport newly released individuals to beginning stages appointments.
6) Help me pay for Jpay stamps and GettingOut app time for communication with incarcerated individuals.
7) Monthly fee for Post office box
8) Starting cost for newly developed website selling artwork of currency incarcerated woman in Arizona prisons

THE AMOUNT OF THIS FUNDRAISER ARE ANNUAL EXPENSES

I have been doing this at some level by myself for 8 years now with minimal if any help most of the time.

As it stands, I am a Certified Peer Support Specialist, a Nationally Certified Psychiatric Technician through the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians, and a mentor.
As well as the Director of the Real Life Recovery Program

I help facilitate currently incarcerated individuals with community based resources upon release from prison.

Don't get me wrong, an individual that commits a crime and is incarcerated as a result, should NOT feel comfortable while in jail. The goal is to deter a person from committing a crime again. Not coddle them. However the food provided these folks in certain Correctional Facilities is borderline criminal in itself. So I take it upon myself to purchase certain folks Ramen Noodle to help. I am NOT asking you to do the same.

It is my hope and prayer that you trust my desire to help people found in this part of their life's story. If you have any questions or concerns, by all means, please share them with me.
Also, if any of you happen to have someone that you care about that is struggling with a substance use disorder then please consider speaking with me about our local resources.

May God's Face Shine upon you.

In His Love,
