Hi, my name is Desiree Driesenaar. Mike Harps and I make "Healthy ...by Design" projects happen in coastal areas. Ecology-Economy. Revitalizing ecosystems and growth economy.

This is our "Pristine Peloponnese" Project. A Project of the Sea.

Mike and I are nature-lovers, storytellers, and environmentalists. We live a simple life full of meaning & words in action.

A few years ago, we heard the calling of the Greek Sea. We came to a fascinating Peloponnese village called Paralio Astros, "BEACH of STARS". We met local Greeks entrepreneurs with dreams of building a "Modern Arcadianism". A rural economy, holistically enjoying nature.

Happy and Healthy Life in Blue Zones, where 1:3 people become 100+ without chronic illnesses. Authentic life in nature.

We decided to stay, and help design some Greek projects.

2021- Olive Bliss ~ about olive groves, soil/water health, and area growth business models

2023- Wildfire Guardians ~ prevention & tokenized apps

2023- Peloponnese Living ~ off-season long-stay, filling empty apartments with mindful people ~ now a virtual city on Facebook ~ 70,000+ Greek-International members and 20+ Greek partners. With Greek healthy building architects and engineers.

2025- Pristine Peloponnese ~ a revitalization of Sea Project.

Our aim is to create jobs with zero emission, zero waste projects in Greece. Humans ARE nature, we can produce healthy with nature ...by Design. Mike and I educate & inspire.

The new project is a "healthier than fish farms Blue Economy project" in the Argolic Gulf Bay. The fish farms destroy pristine waters of the Argolic Gulf Bay with their antibiotics, formaldehyde, and plastics pollution. The government is planing now permits for a 100-fold growth of fish farms in the bay.

We protest and try to create healthy jobs instead.

Currently, we already see the plastic holders, net fibers, and more already wash-up. The NGOs monitor the waters of our Blue Flag beaches. And it's sadly deteriorating. Tourism and fish farming don't go together!

The fish farm are killing the "Greek Goose with the Golden Eggs", the local (off-season) tourism economy. Small hoteliers, restaurants, and local fishermen will lose their jobs. And young Greeks want to work rather in tourism than in fish farming.

However, we understand the Greek governments too. They want money flow into their struggling economy. So, we came up with an alternative economic plan.

A mindful tourism plan. What's the plan?

1. Grow the tourism economy with off-season space filling

2. Advocate no pollution. Zero Waste. Zero emission. Attract community for environmental volunteering.

3. Restoration methods (student projects) and overspill effect from protected sea areas where fish are allowed to become 100+ just like humans. Protected areas, biorock, seacrete, seagrass, kelp for fashion (vegan leather), harbors designed for sea life shelter and breeding spaces.

4. No overfishing. Small Greek fishing boats (jobs!) and modern fishing with bubble nets like whales do. Frequencies. Music of the sea.

5. We can educate about The Porrima, the "Goddess of the Sea". Modern-built ships full of renewables technologies such as green hydrogen, kites, and solar. The Greeks might be a modern shipbuilding nation again on the other side (Athens bay) if they wish to.

Our plan is to involve the people with a love for the Argolic Gulf Bay and use storytelling on social media, area design (harbors, kelp, diving structures) and modern fishing as our method.

We decided to be David, who beat Goliath and we use... Goliath's poor eyesight... as our sword and our fertilizer.

We will involve the sustainability managers of the to-be-built hotels in Ermioni and Kranidi. We will spend our time to write passionate and educational letters to our Dutch King, Queen and their daughters - they have a house opposite our side of the bay, so they can help us influence the Greek officials too for other directions.

Our Dutch Royals are water and microfinance professionals. Their oldest daughter is 20 and trained to be a Queen.

We hope these international influentials will help us in our Quest to overturn the plans from polluting to producing Mighty Magic experiences for Greek-International visitors in the off-season.

We will interview many people, share their stories online, and bridge Greek-International Wisdom.

We have been involved in the design-methods we use in the Netherlands, Spain, Indonesia, and Australia.

Naturally Evolving Systems.

Here are some details:

1. Biorock, seacrete, seament - limestone structures grown from seawater - for coral regrowth and diving structures. Kelp reforestation and fish shelter

2. Marine pilot projects with sound and frequencies - recordings of healthy ecosystems, playing them in degraded areas. The areas restore faster.

3. Seagrass restoration for the waters that are not directly washing up on tourist beaches - shelter for sea life

4. Kelp reforestation as a carbon sink and materials for vegan leather

5. Organizing "fashion from seaweed" shows with badass women from all around the world who do as we do. Regeneration.
