Produce a teaser marketing campaign for Chorus

About Me: Hi, my name is Crystal E. Green. I'm a Michigan-bred storyteller and award-winning filmmaker living in LA. I am fundraising for the production of a teaser marketing campaign for my new television series, Chorus.

The Story: Chorus follows the inspiring journey of Chorus Anderson, a gifted visual artist turned wife and mother of two who puts herself and her dreams on pause to tend to the ceaseless demands of her reality. As Chorus struggles to find her way back to the dreams she left behind, a series of obstacles challenges every single step she takes. Her sanity is threatened, her worth is questioned, her vows are tested and her values are put in the spotlight as the battle between who she was and who she’s become produces the warrior she was meant to be.

Chorus is a transformational tale of overcoming stigmas, renewal and hope while on a quest to find that version of oneself which feels most like home, either in the past or in the future.

A cross between Love Is and This Is Us, Chorus takes place in modern day LA and is carried through the eyes and experiences of 80s born millennials, pressured by the convictions of generations X and Z, heavily influenced by 90s-early 2000s born hip hop and R&B.

Why this Project is Important to Me: As a filmmaker and mother, I feel called to tell the stories that Hollywood has neglected to tell, as it pertains to mothers, specifically those who wear brown every day of the week. I think it goes without saying that the Black woman is the most undervalued person in the world. But what about the Black mother?

How the Funds Will Be Used: All funds received will be put directly into the production of the teaser marketing campaign for Chorus. Specific uses include, but are not limited to, the following:
