Hack the Pandemic PPE Production and Donation
Tax deductible
Hack the Pandemic is a nationally-recognized initiative to crowdsource Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to donate to medical workers and first responders. Our organization has teamed up with a local Northern Virginia based non-profit organization, Fair Lakes Youth Association, to fundraise towards our project. We are currently working with individuals in the VA/DC/MD region to help 3D print face shields and face mask strain relievers, and to help sew face masks to donate to the medical community and to local police and fire stations. We are seeking funds to be able to purchase the following:
- Filament for 3D printing face shield frames and face mask strain relievers
- Clear, plastic film to complete the face shields
- Cloth to sew face masks
Please visit hackthepandemic.org for more information on our organization and its mission, and feel free to reach out to Aashray at [email redacted] with any questions or concerns!
