Professional Association of California Tattooers

We are the united voice of California's Tattoo Industry. Our mission is to raise the professionalism and public image of those making an honorable living in this vibrant profession . Although our trade is legitimate and deeply rooted  in culture and history, we are often overlooked and ignored by policy makers. 

Headquartered in San Diego; our primary purpose is to influence public policy, regulations, and to promote positive public perceptions of California’s Tattoo Industry.

If you are an independent studio owner,     multi-studio owner, studio manager, tattoo artist or supplier,  the P.A.C.T supports you in pursuit of our shared industry goals.

Our founding members are all tattooers in San Diego, and between the four of them, over 100 years professional tattoo experience. 

Aaron Della Vedova: Artist and owner of Guru Tattoo. Turk: Artist and owner of Left Hand  Black. Mike Raymond: Artist and Advocate. Bill Canales: Artist and owner of Full Circle Tattoo .

Our goal is to get the voices of Tattoo  Artists heard where it matters; in city councils, board of supervisors, and In Sacramento.     With the help of lobbyists, lawyers,  and advocates,  we will fight to allow tattooing to continue to be what all artists need it to be.   Free of burdensome bureaucracy , over-regulations and unjust laws. We will stand together to benefit us all.
