PROJECT 1000: Help the CCCB Reach 1000 Families by 2025
Tax deductible
When The Children's Center of Cicero-Berwyn, (CCCB), was founded in 1978, we served 28 families in one location in Cicero, Illinois. More than 46 years later, the CCCB now serves over 950 families across 8 locations in the Cicero, Berwyn, and surrounding communities. The CCCB provides low-income families with DCFS-licensed and NAEYC-accredited bilingual (English & Spanish) programs for children from birth through school-aged, young mothers, and expecting families. This includes Early Headstart, Headstart, Preschool for All, Childcare, and Home-based expecting parent programs.
Project 1000 was launched when the CCCB recognized that the North Berwyn area was underserved with quality early childhood development programs. The goal of Project 1000 is to help the CCCB reach 1000 families served in 2025. All contributions are reinvested back into the community via the programs offered by the CCCB.
