PROJECT ANNAPOLIS POOL

Our Friends at the Annapolis Pool Need Our Help. My name is Daniel, I'm a child that uses the pool all summer. I've been going there since I was 4. If the pool was not a thing I would not know how to swim and not have the friends I do today. The pool being gone is a sad thing for me. I would do anything to get the pool up and running. I am running this to help fund raise for me and the kids to have fun, Everything helps

Note from Annapolis Pool:

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the temporary closure of the Annapolis Community Pool for 2024. We will be taking a (hopefully) one year pause in operations as we collect the $500,000 required for a major repair.

We have been in discussion with our partners and friends from the Annapolis West Health Foundation, Town of Annapolis Royal, Annapolis County, and the Province of NS about funding opportunities available to help us. These have been promising conversations. In addition, the Nicholson Foundation has donated a generous starting amount for our fundraising campaign.

However, after all of these anticipated sources of support ($200,000) we are still forecasting a large gap of approximately $300,000.

As a volunteer organization, we cannot take on this significant project alone. We will be assembling a new project team. We are looking for additional volunteers to help with: grant writing, grant research, fundraising, letter writing, presentations, communications and media. Please reach out if you are interested.
