Project Do Good:

**10/9 UPDATE: Thank you SO much for your incredible donations. We have already started sending funds to local farmers, families and small businesses that have lost so much from the Hurricane. This will be a long road to recovery as folks try to rebuild homes & buildings where they worked & raised their families. Thank you for your continual support & prayers. We have delivered over 40 generators spanning from Watauga, Avery and Ashe county. Thank you!!

High Country Disaster Relief Fund

We have partnered with local churches, PAs, shelters and locals that are actively creating teams to help our surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide safety, as well as provide power, water, and supplies.

All funding will directly impact our community in need. Funds will go to local families that have lost their homes, cars, clothes, driveways, and basic needs. Funding will also go towards supplying water, construction materials and food.

We so appreciate your support, both in funding and prayers!

Please continue to lift up all whose lives have been affected by Helene!

With love, Common Good Co

Details for go fund me + donors

1. How are we connected
We are Common Good Co, a local shop here in Boone owned + operated by husband + wife, Jacob + Melina Daniels. Every year since we opened our shop in 2019, we have made it a goal to create a fundraiser for a family or person in need in our community, we have called these projects “Project Do Good” !

2. Funds + supplies
Supplies have already been bought on personal funds + from donated private parties. Teams of locals have been delivering generators + supplies everyday since September 28th. They are continuing to send supplies + funds to those affected by the hurricane, extending from Watauga, Avery, Ashe, Caldwell, Burke, Mitchelle & Buncombe counties.

These supplies are being delivered by private vehicles + personnel.

3. We are identifying those in need by driving to the furthest areas without power + water. We have connected with 3rd party individuals volunteering + sharing the information of those in need, we have continued to learn more about those affected from the hurricane each day.

With Helene directly impacting our town + surrounding area our mission to raise funding + aid is larger than ever before, the loss we have seen is far beyond what we thought or imaged.

Each donation will directly benefit the families in our beloved mountain town of Boone and surrounding area, towns such as, Vilas, Valle Crusis, Sugar Grove, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Mountain City, Avery county and more.) Funds will, and have already gone to purchasing generators, water, food, basic home needs + aid for those whose lives have been affected by Helene.

Common Good Co is the recipient of all donations— every dollar directly impacts local families and individuals impacted by Helene in the High Country!
