"Project Dream Chasers" Travel Basketball Fund

Project Dream Chasers is our local AAU travel basketball program that allows vulnerable Black Chicago youth to gain exposure and play travel basketball for free. We have joined the Under Armour Future Circuit which seeks to advance the development of young players, teams, and coaches to set the course of grassroots basketball for the near future.

 

Project LOVE Chicago is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that strives to break the cycle of poverty, decrease violent crimes, and increase youth academic outcomes. We provide educational, athletic, and professional resources to vulnerable Black communities throughout the Chicago area.

The goal of "Project Dream Chasers" is to fundraise $75,000 to help support 37 children in grades 6th-8th and aid them in their pursuit to play college basketball.

 

Project LOVE Chicago is committed to supporting this cause to give children the opportunity to live out their dreams athletically and get them involved in our academic programming to make them more well-rounded individuals. Many of the children who participate would not play travel basketball due to their lack of monetary resources.
