Project Empower COVID-19 Lung Model Kit
Donation protected
Recognizing the difficulty in conversing with children about COVID-19 and the immense toll this pandemic has had on youth worldwide, we designed a COVID-19 DIY (do-it-yourself) lung model kit that works to educate children about COVID-19.
Developed with advice from physicians, child educators, and child psychiatrists from Yale University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, this kit serves to empower children with knowledge about COVID-19 and how to keep themselves and others safe during this difficult time, all while sparking scientific curiosity.
This kit includes materials for the lung model, a pamphlet for parents, a story booklet with instructions, a stethoscope, and science glasses. This kit is designed specifically for children ages 5-8. These kits are completely free and fully funded by donations. We hope to gift these kits to as many children as we can in an effort to do our part in aiding our community during this difficult time. We would appreciate your donations in helping us achieve our goals.
Warmest regards and best wishes,
