Project Enable (Smart Class) under the banner of the "Give Back to Community" (GBTC) is an initiative to bridge the technological gap in Rural India to educate children from low-income families online.
Phase 1 was launched on 1st October 2021 with 65 students who were given smartphones by the “Give Back to Community” Foundation to aid their education. A team of volunteer teachers from Ayodhaya teach the students every day -Monday to Saturday. Since October 2021, 300 online classes covering Hindi, Mathematics and Reasoning, 32 online assessments and 1 month of bootcamp were conducted for the students of Class 4 and 5 to prepare them for the entrance exam of Navodaya Vidyalaya.
Phase 1 completed on 30 April 2022 with 22 students of Project Enable (Super 60) appearing for the Navodaya Vidyalaya entrance exam.
Phase 2 starts on 8 May 2022 and with our small win, we are now driven to make this project even bigger. The "Give Back to Community" Foundation is now on a mission to support 100 students from low-income families in rural India to become part of Project Enable (Super 60 plus).
