Project Hear It!

Hello!
Project Hear It! was created by Destination Knowledge, an educational software provider for schools and districts in the state of Florida. While working in a Florida school district, it was evident COVID-19 placed limitations inside and outside of the classroom. One of these limitations being the prevention of sharing headphones amongst students; thus there is a headphone shortage in the district.
Whether it's testing or learning through targeted instruction, students must be able to hear the sound on their computer to excel. Without headphones, distractions and background noise affect the ability of students to focus on their individualized work.
While there has been a great deal of aide going to Florida districts to help with the impacts of COVID, these funds are going to high magnitude initiatives such as new infrastructure to provide high speed internet to schools and their communities; technology devices; digital curriculum; extensive teacher training for the 'new way of doing things'; and much more. Coupled with Florida's significant decline in tourism, budgets are slashed. Headphones simply are not at the highest priority. We think we can help!
The goal of Project Hear It! is to provide Manatee County School District's students with their own pair of quality headphones.
We'll start by donating 200 headphones. Will you join us?
