Project Omerga

Compassionate patient response, CPR is Co-founded by Dr. Satya Garimella, Krishna Kottapalli and Udai Kumar. Our vision is to enrich the healthcare ecosystem by providing critical care infrastructure support to the neediest. We believe it is a social conscience movement for healthcare delivery with public-private partnerships. We have completed five projects in different locations In India by building or enriching critical care units by fundraising nearly a million dollars. we are excited to start our new project—project Omerga to provide 4 bed NICU for Samarpan Hospital in Omerga, Maharashtra, India. We stand strongly on the pillars of Compassion, Integrity, Diligence and operational sustainability.

Almost 442,000 newborn babies died in India due to a lack of healthcare in 2021, according to UN IGME. Samarpan Children’s Hospital in Omerga, Maharashtra is the only hospital that provides Level 3 treatment for newborns in the area. It serves almost 80 of the surrounding villages that fall in the same district.

Run by a dedicated and compassionate doctor, Dr. Nachiket Inamdar, the hospital represents his steadfast dedication to help those in need and save lives. His quality and affordable treatments have saved lives and restored hopes to hundreds of families that would otherwise have been left emotionally devastated and financially incapacitated.

With $100,000, we can double the capacity and the impact at the hospital. In the current set-up, the hospital has a 4-bed NICU which allows the doctor to care for 8-10 neonatal patients per month. With his dedication to saving lives, doubling the NICU beds at the hospital to 8 will enable Dr. Inamdar to care for 20 babies every month. This will save 250 neonatal lives every year.
