PROJECT ROAR: Rural Outreach Access and Resources

Services have now been expanded to include emergency jail and bail with a priority for those outside city limits or in towns that do not have community bail funds.

People outside of their limits are still having a hard time accessing city services and even county services. This is particular difficult for those in rural areas. Statewide programs such as Driver's License Recovery Clinics, Legal Aid and Clinics, and even basic health services are hard to reach when you don't have information.

This is how Project ROAR was born. Rural Outreach, Access and Resources is a statewide project focusing on information and distribution in rural areas or prioritizing areas outside the city limits.

Some of the most marginalized and neglected communities are in your city, but also lie in the county areas outside the city limits. The need for services in rural areas is often overlooked. Engaging the community will include canvassing and blockwalking, phonebanking and word of mouth, public service announcements and community service announcements, etc. Reaching those who are hard to reach is a priority for this project. You can support these efforts by donating now.
