A friend in need, a gift of hope!

Hello! I go by Chris, and a dear friend of mine has found himself in a difficult position. I know him to be a private person, and since this is a surprise, I cannot ask him what he would be comfortable with sharing online. So I cannot offers too many details to respect his privacy. What I can say is, he lost his job recently, and he was unable to stay where he used to live.

My mother, who I'm a caregiver for, and I immediately offered for him to live with us. He plans to find a job as soon as possible, and didn't ask any money from us. But he has single time debts, bill and expenses hanging above his head, and I want to soothe the weight. We cannot give much money ourselves, so I got the idea of trying to make a fundraiser. And then I realized I could make this a birthday gift, since his birthday is close by (March 8th).

As such, I also wish to collect birthday messages to give hope and well-wishes. You can leave these on the blog itself, or as comments after donating to the fundraiser. And, of course, there is the fundraiser itself which will be his birthday present. This is why I will only reveal its existence, as well as the blog, and any birthday messages for him, on March 8th. I'll see then if he wants to leave a message to everyone, and if the fundraiser will be kept open or not, if he didn't yet reach the goal!

Bonjour! On me connaît comme Chris, et un ami cher se retrouve dans une position difficile. Je le connais étant privé, et comme ceci est une surprise, je ne peux pas lui demander ce qu'il sentirait de partager en ligne. Donc je ne peux pas offrir trop de détails pour respecter sa vie privée. Ce que je peux dire, c'est qu'il a perdu son travail récemment, et n'a pas pu rester là où il vivait avant.

Ma mère, pour qui je suis aidante, et moi lui avons immédiatement offert de venir vivre avec nous. Il prévoit de trouver un travail dès que possible, et ne nous as pas demander d'argent. Mais il a des dettes, factures et dépenses non-récurrentes qui lui pendent au-dessus de la tête, et je souhaite soulager ce poid. On ne peut pas donner beaucoup d'argent nous même, du coup j'ai eu l'idée d'essayer de faire une cagnotte. Et ensuite j'ai réalisé que je pouvais en faire son cadeau d'anniversaire, car son anniversaire est bientôt (8 Mars).

C'est pourquoi je souhaite aussi récolter des messages d'anniversaires pour lui donner espoir et bons souhaits. Vous pouvez laisser ceux-ci sur le blog en lui-même, ou comme commentaires après avec donner dans la cagnottes. Et, bien sûr, il y a la cagnotte en elle-même, qui sera son cadeau d'anniversaire. C'est pourquoi je ne révèlerai son existence, ainsi que le blog, et tout message d'anniversaire pour lui, le 8 Mars. Je verrais alors s'il veut laisser un message pour tous le monde, et si la cagnotte restera ouverte après, si le but final n'a pas encore été atteint d'ici là!
