Project Supply Ethiopia

Over winter break, I had the opportunity to visit many cultural sites in Ethiopia. I was struck by how difficult it is for the kids to go to school -- they can either go in the morning session or the afternoon but often they need to help their families with harvesting or even just getting water.  We visited one school where instead of chalkboards, the teachers write on the walls and many children didn't have a writing utensil until we showed up with two boxes of pens.  In Northern Ethiopia, some schools cannot provide supplies for their students. I want to help!  Supply Ethiopia will mail notebooks, pens, and laminated maps and diagrams to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, which will then be taken by guides from Kiren Tours, a company which has been working with the local school I visited for over ten years, to a school between the Simien Mountain Highlands and Gondar. The children have amazing teachers and intellect, but simply do not have the resources to succeed. Supply Ethiopia was founded to give them those resources. 
Mail from America to Addis Ababa is expensive, and so is buying many pens, notebooks, diagrams, books, and classroom games, so we need your help!
After helping one school, we hope to assist additional schools around Northern Ethiopia. We promise to focus and benefit each school we interact with and follow up with visits and photos!
Any support is appreciated and will undoubtedly have an impact on the educations and lives of the schoolchildren.
