Welcome to Project Baby. This our journey through infertility and ART (assisted reproduction technology). Everyone's path to parenthood is different; not all are easy or traditional.
We've been married for almost 8 years and have been struggling to get pregnant for 6 of those. Two years ago we met with a Reproductive Endocrinologist and took a first stab at this. It didn't work. So now, it's time to try again.
We live in a state where insurance coverage for these producedures and treatment is not required, and neither of our jobs offer it. This is an expensive journey, and while we work really hard and try to save as much as we can to pay for it -- there just never seems to be enough.
So we are asking for help. For support. For love. For hope. In an effort to lift the mystery of this process I am committing to documenting each appointment, each shot, each test result. Please join us through this very real, very scary, very (hopefully) exciting process. We need all the help we can get.

Our goal today would cover just 1 cycle (one month) of treatment. We'll see where we get and we'll see happens from there.
