Project Connect 2019 | St. Cloud
Donation protected
Nearly a thousand people are homeless on any given day in Central Minnesota. Many of them cannot access formal shelters and are forced to live in unsafe environments.
As a Social Work Student of St. Cloud State University and working with those involved at our school has driven me to reach out to all of you to help support Project Connect.
We need your help to make a difference for those who are experiencing homelessness in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
We are raising money for Project Connect.
Project Connect is an event that offers people within our community the opportunity to access services offered by governmental, non-profits and other agencies. This event will help connect those who are in need of resources and to help aid the on-going issues of homelessness in the St. Cloud community.
100% of the funds raised will be used towards Project Connect to help purchase basic need items for the homeless in our community.
Some of these basic needs items are:
-clothing | socks, under-wear, scarfs, etc
-hygiene care | toothpaste, toilet paper, soap, etc
-medicine | aid cold, flu, cough, pain
-diapers
-flashlights
-gift cards
-basic needs kit
(plus many more basic need items)
Every donation matters and will make a difference for our community. We appreciate all of the help from you, because there are individuals, families, teens, and veterans that are experiencing homelessness and are in need of your support.

I want to share a personal experience that I had with the community that are struggling with homelessness. Through some networking with my peer, Pranil Karki, I was given the opportunity to film, document and learn from some of the Homeless Encampments in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
