Project NICU

One in 8 babies born in America are born premature. Having a baby in the NICU is a traumatic experience and often families feel all alone in their journey. Sometimes a simple blanket or words of encouragement help make the journey a little less lonely. As a mom of preemies and having experienced neonatal death twice, I have a sincere desire to help families experiencing this traumatic experience. I created Project NICU with a vision to support these families in a simple but meaningful way. Project NICU is a charitable organizations that provides blankets, hats, gas cards, and anything else we can come up with to show support to families facing a NICU experience in Tulsa hospitals. Project NICU is completely funded by private donations and all work is done completely by volunteers! Each blanket costs nearly $20 to make. We will also be donating gas cards valued at $20 each.
