Project:Vienna
I have the incredible opportunity to return to Vienna, Austria for a year-long missions program!
It is an internship offered through the Austrian Baptist Union and Austrian Baptist Aid. I will have the opportunity to continue my work with refugees through women’s integration, refugee services and legal aid, and loving these groups of people. I am eager to help these communities, especially with tragic recent developments in the refugee crisis around the world. There are many Afghan, Turkish, and Syrian refugees in the Vienna area. I will also broaden my theological education through the bible classes and mentorship in the program. I will intern at the church, developing multicultural and international city outreach training.
This opportunity aligns with my heart for Christ, the refugee crisis, the International Church, and my call to work with vulnerable populations overseas. Project:Vienna offers the unique opportunity to serve in a missions context while engaging with the international church. I am so excited to step into the Lord’s plans for me this year and I would appreciate your prayers as I make this transition into my next phase of life! I plan to leave at the beginning of October
