Prom dresses for disadvantaged girls
Donation protected
Hi my name is Stefanie and I am a teacher in Birmingham. I have set up a non profit organisation called Madrina (means godmother in Italian) to help disadvantaged girls get prom dresses this year. With the cost of living increasing this year many families do not have the additional money to spend on extras. Prom is such a significant event nowadays in a young girl’s life that it would be so sad if they couldn’t go because they couldn’t afford a dress yet so many people have beautiful dresses that they have worn once in their wardrobes. Madrina gives gorgeous donated dresses to disadvantaged girls or families simply struggling with the cost of living meaning that everyone shall go to the ball!
Your donations will help pay towards postage dry cleaning, storage and getting a van to be able to take the dresses to different locations (I’ve learnt my car is not big enough!)
