Prophetic Imagination Conference
Donation protected
We need your help to get two of the most prophetic people we know to a gathering of other prophets— the Prophetic Imagination Conference in September in Minneapolis, MN: www.propheticimagination.com
Xan West is a fierce and fearless black queer troublemaker. She considers herself a radical ritual holder, a liminal space worker, spiritual trauma healer & street theologian. She is a member of Second Acts, a direct action group of Jesus followers and 'feral Christians’ that has been invited to do a workshop at the conference. Xan will bring her more than 20 years of experience in social justice movements to the gathering. And we all know there can be no prophetic gathering without someone born& raised in Oakland in the house!
Vahisha Hasan is a movement builder extraordinaire—a faith rooted organizer working at the intersections of faith, social justice, and mental health who lights up any room she enters. She is a powerful public speaker, transformative facilitator, writer, and social justice trainer with a deeply prophetic voice and imagination for how faith communities can be an active part of collective liberation. Vahisha is also co-editor with Nichola Torbett of RESIPISCENCE, the first ever Lenten devotional for dismantling white supremacy, and this will be the first opportunity Vahisha and Nichola will have to meet in person!
We all know there can be no prophecy without Black women. Let’s get these two prophets to Minneapolis! Your donation will help cover travel and housing costs.
Thank you!
