Prosthetic Eyes for Bethany Sears

Hey everyone! I’m Anna Phillips, Bethany Sears's (Hicks) sister! Let's all join together to help Bethany get her new prosthetic eyes! As most all of you know, Bethany lost her sight in December of this past year. After multiple hospital stays, surgeries and treatments out of state, unfortunately, no vision was able to be restored and she is now blind. Her eyes had to be surgically removed in June of this year. In the next few weeks, she will be going out of state to have new custom prosthetic eyes made especially for her. This is going to be expensive but is necessary to help Bethany feel more confident and like herself again. It's going to cost $7000 ($3500 per eye) and this has to be paid upfront. Her insurance will reimburse her for their part which will only be $2400 total. It's been a very long and difficult journey for her. While they will not give her vision, having these eyes custom-made, will give her the confidence she needs to start a new journey and her new normal.
