Protect Holyport Village from Studios Development

The failed application for Holyport Studios at Stroud Farm is now subject to an appeal and public inquiry.

Should the developer be successful in its appeal, not only will it be devastating for the neighbouring villages of Holyport, Fifield and Oakley Green, but it will also encourage other inappropriate large-scale applications to be submitted.

If fighting the initial application wasn’t bad enough, RBWM and Bray Parish Council are now collectively required to spend further hundreds of thousands of pounds of public money, defending the decision to refuse the application.

Our communities have decided to also have a seat at the table and to enable this, are crowdfunding to protect our historic villages from destruction.

Our level of involvement will be determined by the success of fundraising and with approximately 150,000 residents within the Borough, we are hopeful to raise sufficient funds to enable our communities to be properly represented.

Lower amounts will allow us the best specialists to present our case, whilst increased funds would allow us to cross examine the appellants.

Donating what you can is all we ask. If we do not use all the funds they will be returned proportionally back to the donors, but if we don’t have them to start with, we’ve lost the battle before it has begun.

We have no upper or lower limits on donations. Please donate whatever you’re able to. All the money will be paid directly to the team who will represent us.

Please take time to consider the implications of the success of this appeal - to your life, your village, the significant decrease in value to your property, the huge increase in traffic, the added pollution and waste to the area, the loss of green belt, the damage to the community and wildlife, the flooding... consider it all and then if you decide you can donate please give as generously as you’re able.
