Protect Liberty Valley From Commercial Cannabis

No Pot on Pepper, a coalition of neighbors within Petaluma's Liberty Valley, is actively fighting two large scale commercial cannabis facilities in the heart of our community.

Facility #1:

The proposed project at 985 Pepper Rd is approximately 30,000 sqft of cannabis wholesale nursery, propagation, processing, and transport distribution (300ft from multiple homes pictured above).

Facility #2:

A second commercial cannabis facility at 5730 Bodega Ave was recently approved and constructed. This facility is 41 hoop houses, totaling 160,000square feet of cannabis (4 acres of cannabis).

Both of these facilities are some of the largest proposed cannabis operations in Sonoma County and are located in the heart of Liberty Valley: a well-established, family neighborhood. This is not the right location for these operations.

Fighting to preserve Liberty Valley is expensive. We are working hard to preserve our family neighborhood for generations to come. We are in great need of donations (any amount is helpful!). Your donations will go directly towards this fight: legal fees, media outreach, environmental and other scientific studies, consultant fees, and more.

Our concerns include but are not limited to: crime and safety, well water depletion, environmental impact, impact on local plant and animal species (including endangered and threatened species), drainage/runoff, traffic/safety, noise, odor and light disturbances, pesticides, pollutants, drop in property values, and more.

Once Sonoma County allows such grow operations in residential communities to begin, we will not see the end of grow operations near residential areas county-wide.
