Protect Our Community - PPE For Shelters

Hello! We are two rising ninth graders in the Bay Area. We chose to research how COVID-19 has affected the local homeless population as part of an optional summer project. We were surprised by how badly COVID-19 had hit our unsheltered population, and so after conducting an interview and doing research, we decided to create a fundraiser to help the volunteers and homeless. We learned that our local homeless shelters need PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) more than anything else. The money raised will be donated to the LifeMoves opportunity center in Palo Alto, to help them purchase reusable masks and other PPE items to help keep everyone safe. Additionally, if you wish to take a more direct approach there is a white box next to the mailbox at 45 Hidden Valley Lane where you can donate clean and unused masks. Thank you!
